Some of the men who were on the Heilwood Rifle Club were also members in another loosely formed club – the Heilwood Hunting Club.
The exact dates that this club was organized and later disbanded have long since passed with its former members. However, it’s known that the club members enjoyed hunting both turkey and deer and together shared a camp with lodgings in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. The club members ventured there each fall in pursuit of game.
All of the members are not known, but the following men did have membership in the club: Father Charles Black; Jim Donahue; Don Elliott; Gene Elliott; Fred Ganoe; George Ganoe; Jack Johnson; and Alex Jusko.
